The Department of Agriculture has released the schedule for the virtual 105th Pennsylvania Farm Show. Traditionally held in Harrisburg, the department moved the show to an online event as the Commonwealth continues to battle the COVID-19 pandemic.

The full schedule is available at www.farmshow.pa.gov. Some staples of the show include

4-H demonstrations, live duckling pond and beehive cams, culinary demonstrations, DIY plant-based projects, segments about Farm Show history, agriculturally themed bedtime stories and much, much more!

In addition to live and pre-recorded events that will be featured on the Pennsylvania Farm Show Facebook page and the Pennsylvania Cable Network, the Farm Show will host more than 180 virtual exhibits at www.farmshow.pa.gov, ranging from raising hogs to baking an award-winning apple pie.

The schedule of virtual events will run from Saturday, Jan. 9, through Saturday, Jan. 16.

If that’s not enough opportunities to immerse yourself in Pennsylvania agriculture, the Farm Show can also be followed on Instagram, where 20 “takeovers” will go behind the scenes on some of the state’s farms. Follow along to learn the innerworkings of everything from goat farming to organic agriculture.
