HARRISBURG – Rep. Tarah Toohil (R-Luzerne) is reminding Luzerne County municipalities that the application period for the Local Share Account (LSA) program is now open and runs through Sept. 30. This is a change from previous years.
The LSA program is administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development and was established for the purpose of distributing 2% of gross terminal revenues of certain licensed gaming facilities. Projects eligible for funding should improve the quality of life for citizens in the community.
More information on the LSA-Luzerne County Program and the application process is available at dced.pa.gov
