Toohil Announces State Funding for Dairy Expansion Project

HARRISBURG – A volunteer fire department in the 116th Legislative District will benefit from a state program that funds equipment purchases and training to battle wildfires, according to Rep. Tarah Toohil (R-Luzerne). Hobbie Volunteer Fire Company No. 1 in Wapwallopen was awarded a $4,208 grant through the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources and supported by federal funding.

Toohil to Host Health Walk

HAZLETON – In an effort to promote a healthy lifestyle for her constituents, Rep. Tarah Toohil (R-Luzerne) is hosting a group exercise event on Friday, Sept. 14. Participants are invited to join Toohil for a health walk at the Laurel Mall, 106 Laurel Mall Drive in Hazle Township. They are asked to gather at 8 a.m. at the mall’s Center Court.
