Toohil to Host Outreach Events in August
7/27/2012

HARRISBURG – In her continuing effort to meet regularly with constituents, Rep. Tarah Toohil (R-Luzerne) today announced that she is hosting a series of outreach events during the month of August.

Toohil has scheduled four “Legislative Coffee Breaks” throughout the 116th District.  The events are free and open to the public, however seating is limited.  Attendees are asked to call Toohil’s district office at (570) 453-1344 to make a reservation.

“Meeting face to face with constituents is an important part of any public servant’s job,” said Toohil.  “I look forward to these events because it gives me a chance to listen to what folks here at home have to say about issues impacting their communities and legislation we are working on in Harrisburg.”

Toohil’s coffee break schedule is as follows:

·         Friday, Aug. 3, 9:30 - 11 a.m., St. Michael’s Recreation Center, 300 Fern St., Freeland.

·         Friday, Aug. 3, 1:30 - 3 p.m., West Hazleton Community Center, 100 S. Fourth St., West Hazleton.

·         Tuesday, Aug. 7, 9 - 10:30 a.m., Hazle Township Commons Building, 103 W. 27th St., Hazle Township.

·         Tuesday, Aug. 7, 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Butler Township Senior Citizens Center, 413 W. Butler Drive, Drums.

“My staff and I will also be available to answer any question constituents may have on state-related services we can provide through my district office,” said Toohil.  “I encourage the community to attend.”
