Toohil to Take Part in Graffiti Paint Out Event in Hazleton

WHAT: POWER! (Professionals Organized and Working to Enrich the Region), a group sponsored by state Rep. Tarah Toohil (R-Luzerne), is holding a graffiti paint out event at the Arthur Street Elementary School playground. The project’s goal is to rid the playground and its equipment of unsightly graffiti, some of which is believed to be gang-related. The event will take place during the school day, so students can observe how group members are unified in their effort to clean up the community.
